at his altar near Gibraltar  
old Poseidon sits and frets  
as sea level's rise bedevils  
Med is clearly off its meds  
why would Ocean care -- this motion's  
bringing glory to his crown  
needs his worshippers' devotion  
and the worshippers might drown
