Colosseum  
a museum  
to Man's flaws and folly

Amphitheatre  
(do come hither,  
don't be melancholy)

Gladiators  
fought with gators  
and all manner battle

For the praetors  
men and critters  
slaughtered like some cattle

Yet it stands there  
Understand their  
circuses and bread

What would you do?  
And stay true to  
what you'd do instead
