each age delivers its share of regrets  
and visions of apocalypse abound  
beguiling prophets trap you in their nets  
their tales of woe ring a familiar sound  
resist! resist the urgency of NOW  
your time is no more special than the rest  
no goal is more important than the how  
and mothers learn that mothers do know best
