Guinevere liked Lance a lot  
Gawain had asked her to explain  
was followed up by Geraint  
fond of a timely gerund  
Sir Percival was merciful  
Sir Bors was rather younger  
Sir Lamorak, he wouldn't yack  
Sir Gareth prone to hunger  
and old Sir Kay did quite ok  
King Arthur set the table  
sat with these eight and drank till late  
as long as they were able
