# Hollow's Eve

It's Hollow's Eve, the witch is drunk  
and her familiars escape  
she takes the broom out from her trunk  
but cannot find her blackened cape

and in the meantime, the crow raves  
and makes its way towards the moon  
the tomcat can't, and so it waves  
please take me, raven, take me soon

soon ghosts and zombies play their parts  
hissing about and creaking floors  
the latter crave your brains and hearts  
the former satisfied with drawers

into this darkness I emerge  
a bowl of candy, sour and sweet  
come meet me, it is time to splurge  
what will it be, a trick or treat?
