Adam and Eve  
in their quest to conceive  
were proving to be quite naïve

wait, so I take a rib?  
then start building a crib?  
seems too easy, if I can be glib

Satan did interfere  
he who's never sincere  
and proceeded to assuage their fear

apples, oranges, skin  
bees and birds -- so obscene  
there you have it: original sin
