My memories and recollections,  
all gathered neatly, in a bunch,  
await instructional directions.  
Resolved to do it, after lunch.  
Well, maybe shortly after dinner.  
The pile's not getting any thinner,  
but then again, that's been the goal,  
producing a coherent whole.  
Autobiography, hard labor,  
and I do have some things to say,  
procrastination, though, holds sway...  
Ah, look, I think that is my neighbor.  
I'll start tomorrow, won't forget.  
My story isn't written yet.
