the man on the moon grabbed the sun by her waist  
and kissed her face, right on the lips  
he then started to swoon, overcome by her taste  
not quite hugging, but hands on her hips  
not a moment too soon, 'as the lady, quite chaste  
scorched his fingers while singeing their tips  
but he did it, the loon, it's the sun he embraced!  
a brief moment, but he did eclipse
