he asked me:  
will you bury me  
in infinite azure

I can't, he said  
the pain, he said  
is too much to endure

we'll sail  
into the evening sun  
and then  
we'll say goodbye

the gentle waves  
will mix with tears  
the moon will lullaby

then you'll sail back  
the Eastern wind  
will gently sob along

when you get home  
try not to cry  
if you do hear  
our song
