Bill of Rights

the Bill of Rights was paid in full
there's no refunding British Rule
and the protections, so hard won
be it religion or the gun
are not to be reversed or cut
the union is what we've got
as a result of compromise
a change so radical, unwise
threatens the freedoms that we cherish
the country won't survive, it'll perish

live as you wish, let others be
for what are we, if we're not free
