the chicken, feeling a bit leaner
but having heard that grass is greener
and greener grass means fatter worms
(what chickens eat will make you squirm)
did try to check out the said grass
in trying so, she did, alas
have to cross over a big road
she did not reach her new abode
no, there she lies, sadly she's stricken
the road, you see, does not play chicken
