The Swift

swift on the wing they're showing off
dive as they scissor through the air
chirping and singing, they face off
this one's a teaser, don't you dare!

and now I'm marked, gee thanks a lot
fly, fly, you bad boy, chirp away
a bit of luck is what I've got
what kind of luck, I can't yet say

swift on the wing they're showing off
and on my face, the biggest smile
chirping and singing, they face off
I think I'll watch them, for a while
