all the roads start from my home

in our Washington DC

I might choose to live in Paris
and if I had a lucky gal
I might just live in Portugal
and I need not to explain
it'd be fun to live in Spain
but as it is, and lord have mercy
I live plainly, in New Jersey

I put a sonnet on my Tinder.
A lark, but much to my delight
It didn't stymie, block or hinder
those that would swipe, and swipe me right!
Now I hook up with poetesses
(and some that have impressive asses)
I judge them strictly on their verse
and I'll confess: I've seen much worse.
This has been great for my libido
In fact, perhaps a bit too great --
which I did not anticipate --
but if this poet has a credo,
it is that love must conquer all.
and so I answer every call.
Right and Wrong made a bet
Wrong said: they'll soon forget
and go on as if nothing was done
Right denied: it can't be!
it's the land of the free!
and for emphasis, showed Wrong her gun
nothing ventured or gained
Wrong would later explain
Right, as always, would honor the bet
which is just for one round
that's enough, and they've found
that the rest of us will soon forget

these three... women, call them ladies
those grow too big for their breeches
and the visitor from Hades
generates all kinds of chaos
(no, don't call him Asmodeus)
the three ladies and their newborns
(lacking birth marks, tails -- and no horns!)
Fine if you will call them witches
all have fallen into riches
but the folks, they hate their devil
any one of of them will level
and they do have stuff to tell
